From an era when Corgi were producing ever more exciting features, it was also given jewelled headlights, a tinted sun roof and a spare wheel contained in a small plastic enclosure mounted on the boot – just like the actual car!

Based on the earlier Corgi 252 Rover 2000, the tooling was cleverly re-designed to facilitate the new ‘Golden Jacks’ mechanism – essentially a pull-down lever on the base that released the wheel and acted as a jack to support the model. Corgi went on to release two further ‘Golden Jacks’ models in 1968 – Corgi 276, Oldsmobile Toronado (in June) and Corgi 338, Chevrolet SS 350 Camaro (in August).

Scale: 1:46

Size: Length: 97mm Width: 37mm Height: 32mm

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0533/3565/4550/files/WhiteRover2000inbox1000px_71b2ca08-4e51-4101-9f83-a2def2b7eeef.jpg?v=1786383201
