What a truly astonishing model. It's beautifully presented in its period box and I'm convinced that the steering is tighter and very accurate when compared with the original. If you are learning to drive and having difficulty in parking, I'm convinced that this model will help you in thinking about when you need to start turning and in which direction. I had this car as a youngster in the 1960's and to have it again and now on a display shelf after having 'testing it', has put a huge smile on my face.
I'd really been looking forward to this re-release as I have a battered but cherished original (in white with 'Racing Club' stickers). Like a few others on here although the model is very nice it's really disappointing that the elegantly simple winch locking spring mechanism hasn't been included, particularly given that this is an expensive, premium product.
