Well done CMC, this is just the best model yet to opitimise Corgi's skill at producing an American saloon. My model arrived today and I am so pleased with the quality. The paint work is superb, the chrome, bright and shiny and to my relief no holes in the seats where previous models have had passengers. I cannot get over the shine on the paint finish, looks absolutley superb. This really is a glorious reproduction of one of my favourite American models produced by Corgi. The suspension is good alround also, unlike our previous "bubble car" model. I stillhave my original Impala saloon (pale blue) and the Yellow cab, showing their age now, but I think it would be good if we could also have a new blue and the pink variety. This is definitely a five star model and I am so pleased to add it to my collection. Could we also have the Plymouth Sports Suburban please and a further colour of the Oldsmobile without the holes in the seats. Well done CMC, I continue to look forward to each new model.

Dieses geniale kleine Teil war eines meiner liebsten Spielzeuge. Er hatte mich jeden Tag zum Kindergarten begleitet. Dort wurde er konfisziert, weil ich immer mit meinem kleinen Auto gespielt habe, und nicht mit den anderen Kindern. Dann bei der ersten Gelegenheit bin ich dann ausgerückt, nach Hause und habe gesagt das ich da nicht mehr hingehen will, wenn ich nicht wieder mein Auto bekomme. 😁😁

Ich hatte das unglaubliche Glück, das ein Onkel (Australier) in London für die australische Presse gearbeitet hat. Von ihm hatte ich genau diese Modell geschenkt bekommen. Ich war total begeistert. Nicht wegen des Films, sondern wegen den tollen Extras die das Auto hatte. Damit war ich bei meinen Spielkameraden der absolute König. Jeder wollte so ein Teil haben. Leider weiß ich nicht, wenn er in Deutschland zu kaufen war. Corgi Toys war bei uns in Kaiserslautern sehr schwer zu bekommen. Mein kleiner Bruder hat ihn dann später kaputt gemacht.
