Not knowing the original I can only comment on this one. The finish is the usual excellent Corgi finish. Reference comparison to the original. I'm not certain about the plastic base (not metal) and the pressed on wheels. I don't like either of these adaptations. First one with no interior, a small surprise as corgi was the leader with those. Nice model otherwise.
What a cracking little model, to turn an awful car into something that you actually like, is wizardry!
I remember the original being as nasty as the real car, poor paint and rough as a badgers a***. The bonnet was floppy and always nipped your fingers.
Not this one, the bonnet is very firm and with a positive click closure. Superb casting and paint. Well done Corgi Model Club 👏
