This is another Corgi favourite and in such a nice colour, not being previously produced. The model arrived safe and sound however for some explicable reason the offside passenger door wss a darker shade than the rest of the car. I raised this with customer services and the club quickly provided a replacement for me. I don't understand some of the negative comments about customer services as they have always been most polite and helpful to me. Nack to the model. All the parts fit correctly and open as they should. The Bermuda Taxi version would be nice to have but I feel there are plenty more unreleased models that deserve preference. Thank you for your continued efforts in producing such great models.
This is another great model from CMC. The model arrived safe and sound, though a little later than expected, not the fault of the club. The paint finish is superb, with a real gloss to the white. The take off wheels all work correctly and the spare mounyed on the boot is a great addition to the model. It is nice to see both issues provided by the club. We understand why the club makes the most out of tooling already produced, but as we now have both the take off wheels versions can we have the standard Rover 2000 with transolite and the Monte Carlo version. Perhaps we could have the MC gift set as an extra for Christmas. I note that the club has stated that vans and lorries would be more expensive to produce, but there are such opportunities out there for the smaller lorries and vans. Us collectiors I am sure would snap any up. Thanks again for continuing to produce these so loved models. I look forward to the Rover 2000.
