I remember this exotically named car appearing in the Corgi catalogue, by which time I was probably coming to the end of my toy car collecting phase (well, the first phase anyway). This was never a car that I never really coveted, but would have been quite happy to get it as a present and am happy now for it to sit on my shelf. This is a very nice reproduction, with, of course the added bonus of the detachable chassis.

Great model car and presentation

The Corgi model GHIA 5000 MANGUSTA - WITH DE TOMASO CHASSIS is presented very well with the separate chassis and body. Although I never had the original, this new facsimile fits in very nicely with my collection of cars bought back in the day and new model cars in their original boxes.

This model is one of the nest releases to date. Great detail, beautifully moulded and excellent paint work. Just as I remember the original! 😊
